We the Humans of Technovole believe in building solutions that improve human experiences and create lasting impact across communities. This vision continues to guide every innovation we develop — from cloud technologies to AI-driven tools and educational systems. Recently, our CEO had the privilege of participating in the Tech2Field Programme at CIHEAM Bari in Italy, an intensive four-month international training designed to equip innovators with the skills and networks needed to transform agriculture through technology.

This experience has not only expanded his personal understanding of global innovation ecosystems but has also strengthened Technovole’s commitment to building scalable, human-centered technologies for Africa.

A Programme That Went Beyond Technology

Although the journey began with deep technical immersion — including precision agriculture, machine learning applications, and AI-driven decision tools — it quickly evolved into something broader. Through highly practical masterclasses, expert-led sessions, and hands-on experimentation, he gained insights relevant not only to agriculture but also to our wider work at Technovole: digital transformation, systems design, and innovation strategy.

Meaningful mentorship from his mentors Gaston and Vito Di Cagno played a profound role. Their guidance helped refine his ideas, sharpen his strategic direction, and identify new ways to align technology with community needs. We are deeply grateful for the clarity, perspective, and encouragement they shared.

Mediterranean Agri-Food Innovation Week: A Global Lens on Local Problems

One of the most impactful components of the programme was participating in the Mediterranean Agri-Food Innovation Week, where innovators, researchers, and entrepreneurs from across the world came together to showcase solutions shaping the future of food systems.

For four days, they exchanged ideas, built new partnerships, and explored how multi-stakeholder perspectives can produce stronger, more resilient innovations. What stood out most was the realization that every community faces challenges, but the creativity with which people respond is what defines the future.

This week was far more than an event.
It was a commitment to action — a reminder that collaboration across borders, disciplines, and cultures is essential for solving real-world challenges. It also reinforced something we deeply believe at Technovole: technology must be human-first, inclusive, and accessible.

Connecting with People and Purpose

Beyond the technical and networking sessions, he was inspired by the people he met — individuals who shared openly about the constraints affecting their communities and the innovative ways they are addressing them. These conversations revealed a truth that aligns perfectly with Technovole’s philosophy:

“Innovation is not about building systems alone; it is about understanding people and designing tools that empower them.”

From precision agriculture to AI-enabled learning platforms, the responsibility we carry as innovators is to create solutions that uplift humanity.

What This Means for Technovole

This experience has enriched the strategic direction of Technovole in several ways:

  • Strengthened global networks that will support future collaborations in digital agriculture, education, and AI.
  • New insights into climate-smart innovation, which reinforce our work with Technovole Cloud, Snap Scholar, SquidPOS, ViteOne, Project IronHand and other upcoming tools.
  • Deeper understanding of multi-stakeholder innovation, which will shape how we partner with governments, institutions, and communities.
  • Renewed commitment to youth-centered digital development, reflecting our growing Technovole Academy and Innovation Clubs in Schools.

As we expand our solutions across Africa, this experience will continue to influence how we design, build, and deploy technologies for maximum impact.

A Future Larger Than Borders

We are profoundly grateful to CIHEAM Bari, Startup10, and the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs for creating a platform that elevates young innovators and strengthens global collaboration.

With every partnership, every student trained, every system deployed, and every innovation built — we move closer to a future where technology empowers, includes, and transforms.

And at Technovole, we are just getting started.
